Pride

Pride is a feeling of pleasure, satisfaction and respect for doing something good. The biggest feeling of pride was having my first child; my daughter, Chloe. There was no bigger feeling of accomplishment then being a parent. This sense of pride only grows as she does. She is now 13, and makes me proud every day. Watching her deep sense of caring for all living things makes me proud. Even small things, such as watching her hold a door open for people at the store (without me asking) makes me proud. Having a child is one of the greatest motivators for wanting to do good in life, and it has encouraged me to go back to school, for which I am also proud of. Pride is a great feeling.
